IT Infrastructure Specialist with financial services experience sought to deliver a new portfolio of projects in London.Requires not just technology knowledge but good communication and stakeholder management skillsClient DetailsA global investment manager based in Mayfair. London is looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist.DescriptionLogging and monitoring of outages, problems or issues with Tech SupportReset LAN IDs and passwordsMonitor and follow up on existing issues/tickets, escalating as requiredRaise and monitor new system access requests via TIM or the System Access Support teamRaise and monitor new equipment requests for users via Service Now portalRaise requests to Tech Support for voice issues/changes/configuration of new phonesAssisting with mobile device connectivity including install Airwatch, system updates, etcRestore from backup request for file share issuesLaptop build and OS installationW10 and W7 experienceKnowledge and access to raise requests via internal systems eg TIM or Service Now portalOffice contact for IT upgrades and Testing. eg: Office 365Physical move/install of IT equipment and accessories - phones/PC/screens, etcOffice 365 hands-on support and trainingAssist with file share access, mapping network pathsAssist and be SME on Video Conferencing systemsAssist and be SME for Skype / VOIP technologiesAssist and be SME for mobility devices (switch, router and network patching experience)ProfileFinancial Services experienceMicrosoft CertificationsStrong stakeholder and relationship management skillsHigh attention to detailHigh levels of initiative, delivery focus and personal driveAdvanced computing skills in Windows OS, Internet Explorer, MS Office, E-mailActive Directory and Mobility PlatformsAbility to prioritise competing workloads to ensure the best response timesUnderstanding of the ITIL Framework (ITIL v3 foundation certification preferred)Office 365 experience.ServiceNow experience.Understanding of investment management functions desirableWorking with and managing vendors experience desirableJob OfferThe successful IT Infrastructure Specialist based in London will be working on a suite of new projects in a newly formed team.
