Java Developer - Bolton - up to £35,000

I'm working with a well established finance company who are recruiting due to a growth in their market share which has lead to growth across all areas including their development team.

You will be working closely with the Development Manager in a busy and growing IT environment that covers 5 sites across the UK. Due to the on-going project work that is happening you will be expected to design and develop financial applications on a day to day basis, managing your own design across the team as well as carrying out development yourself. You will be working a technical environment that includes Java, SQL, MySQL

Essential skills:

*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

*Excellent Core Java skills

*Strong understanding of OOD and Java design patterns

*Source code management e.g. Git or similar

*SQL and Relational databases e.g. MySQL or similar

*Java development environments e.g. NetBeans or similar

*Minimum one years commercial development experience

Desirable

*Java Swing UI development

*Automated builds with continuous integration
