Job Title: Head of Programme: Cyber and National Security
Salary: £43,000 - £52,000 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Their Cyber and National Security programme provides a channel for their industry to engage with commercial and government partners to provide intelligence on the threat landscape, increase cyber exports and to stimulate awareness and demand for cyber security in the UK.
Cyber security underpins the continued development of the global digital economy. Its technologies protect their personal data and messages online, safeguard the intellectual property of businesses and secure their critical national infrastructure.
This is an established and successful programme and they are looking for a talented and self-motivated individual to lead this important work and the team that delivers it. You will be the focal point for all their work in the cyber and national security space, working with senior industry leaders and stakeholders from member and public-sector sides to deliver against clear and deliverable strategic objectives.
Deliver against a range of financial and performance targets (including membership growth and retention)
Manage and develop a team of talented professionals
Providing guidance on cyber and national security matters to their senior management team
A self-motivated individual who is comfortable leading several projects
An effective and motivational manager
A team player who is comfortable and able to work with relevant teams across the company
Strong interpersonal skills
Has a can-do approach and comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment with competing demands
Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to get to grips with complex technical information and to communicate this effectively to a range of audiences
Able to articulate, explain and sell the benefits of them to a range of audiences from government to potential new members
Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Cyber and National Security landscape and the positioning and role of them
Strong knowledge of public affairs, ideally able to demonstrate a successful public policy outcome through using public affairs strategy
Has an awareness of tech companies' business models and drivers
Has a proven track record and experience of managing complex relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Comfortable with and has experience of working with board level executives
Interest in cyber security / technology / public policy
Strong interest in the UK tech sector and their mission to make the UK good for tech, make tech good for the UK and make tech good for people
Has a proven track record of managing events (dinners, breakfast briefings, seminars and so on) ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK prior to commencement of employment, must be willing and able to attain SC level security clearance.
