Software Engineer (.Net, JavaScript, AWS)Salary - up to £45k + Bonus + BenefitsSoftware Engineer (Global Data Analytics Organisation!) - I am working closely with a global data information analytics company that are seeking a Software Engineer to work on a Greenfield project within their energy sector. They harness information and expertise to devise bespoke solutions within markets and industries that affect economies worldwide. Their product platform collects and stores key data which is then commercialised for their clients, including BP. The Software Engineer will utilise the .Net framework, specifically ASP.Net (MVC), to develop a project that is in the middle of a cloud migration to AWS.The Software Engineer will:Work with a solid tech stack including .Net, C#, JavaScript and SQLWork in an agile environment within a Microservices architecture on top of Docker containers and cloud deployment with AWSGain exposure to large datasets and a role that will test analytical and problem-solving skillsAs the Software Engineer, you'll join an agile development team and will work closely with the Lead Engineer and Product Owner to understand client business and workflow requirements. You'll then work on small-to-mid level programs - designing and delivering solutions to match. The Software Engineer will also gain exposure to building upon their distributed systems and cloud infrastructure. You'll in turn utilise DevOps tooling and modern methodologies including Continuous Delivery and TDD/BDD.The company are based in idyllic Tetbury, Gloucestershire. They have around 100 employees in this office, with ~15 in their development team.
