QA Manager OpportunityI am currently working with an exciting up and coming Biotech in Greater London (SW) who are looking for a QA Manager to join the team.The QA Manager is responsible for the Quality Assurance (QA) department functions, reporting into and in support of the Head of Quality to maintain the compliance with the EU GMP Part II (ICH Q7) Quality Management System and demonstrating compliance through Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.QA Manager Key Responsibilities:Authorized person to release raw materials and finished productsAuthority to challenge data quality for release purposesAssessment and qualification of new materials and suppliersApproving and authorization of written procedures (SOPs)Senior review of laboratory LogbooksManagement and periodic review of the approved supplier system, including external auditingManagement of Root cause analysis, complaints, Recall & Returns, quality events, deviations, OOS, CAPA and ChangeQA Manager Key Requirements:A degree in a relevant scientific disciplineStrong knowledge of working within a GMP and/or GLP environmentStrong knowledge of Quality Management SystemsWorking knowledge of regulatory requirementsWorking towards a Qualified Internal and External Auditor statusKnowledge of approaches to data integrityQP training may be considered for future needsThis QA Manager role would be well suited to someone who has management experience at the Senior QA Officer/Specialist level and who is ready to take the next step in their career.If this sounds like it could be for you, please get in touch as soon as possible!
