Closing Date: 17th January 2020 As a Test Analyst you will own the creation and implementation of test automation capabilities within Quilter. Experience of working within a DevOps environment and producing full stack automated tests across web and mobile applications is required. About the role As a Test Analyst you will analyse software requirements and write and execute comprehensive, thorough and effective automated test scripts and regression packs to verify the quality of new or enhanced software releases. You'll work effectively within the project and participate fully in the project, communicating back to the team on progress, blockers etc.

You'll manage specification and on-going development and maintenance of automation framework and will record, report, analyse and manage defects found during testing and manage through to closure. You'll help raise the profile of testing within Quilter by providing high value automated test solutions and promoting continuous improvement within the various applications being supported. About you You'll be a decisive, adaptable, disciplined delivery professional. Ideally educated to degree level, or with equivalent experience, ITIL and Agile qualifications are also desirable.

You'll have experience of testing complex IT projects through to completion, resulting in delivery of robust and high-quality applications, building automated testing frameworks from scratch. You'll also have experience with functional and non-function testing tools e.g. Selenium, UFT, Cucumber, Performance Centre, Gatling, JMeter and Defect tracking tools.

You'll have proven software testing experience including the implementation of smoke tests, unit tests or Pester tests as well as exploratory testing/alerting, as well as proven track record within an IT function and experience of working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. You'll have an understanding of industry best practice and trends together with their application within a business context. You'll be passionate about DevOps and have a resilient attitude in pushing the DevOps perspective.
