Deputy Release-to-Service Manager

My defence client is looking for a Security Cleared Deputy Release-to-Service Manager to join their team in Bristol on a 12 month contract.

The Deputy RTS Manager's role is to support the DT RTS Manager in developing RTS Recommendations, in line with RA1300 series guidelines and with associated supporting evidence. Assistance in evidence pack build-up for presentation to the Airworthiness Authority, prior to submission to the RTSA. Responsibilities include:

* Assessment of Airbus Certification & Qualification documentation

* Review of Independent Technical Expert (ITE) recommendation statements

* Drafting RTS letters and supporting documentation

* Participation at internal and external RTS related meetings

* Management of DT RTS process documentation

* Advising Project Managers/Engineers in meeting RTSR requirements

Additional information:

* Extensive knowledge in development of the release to Service within the Military Air environment required.

* Working knowledge and experience of the UK Safety and Airworthiness Regulations

* Demonstration and experience of certification and qualification knowledge.

Occasional UK travel will be required.
