For a big Telekom Company we are currently looking for a Financial analyst Top 3 technical non-negotiable skills that you will look for in the CVAdvanced Excel and presentation skillsThorough understanding of accounting / financial processes and rules (i.e. PO's, receipting, invoicing, matching. as well as Capex and Opex categorization)Driven team player who is a fast learner with good management and multi-tasking skills Daily tasks of the candidateFormulation of business cases for new Core network solutionsBuild yearly budget covering all Core domains including regular reforecasts.Manage yearly price increase model for Aorta interconnect services, liaising with vendors to ensure it is reflected in the budget and querying any abnormalities.Secure funding for Core initiatives through Liberty Global governance processesTranslate capacity forecast into a financial forecast, creating and maintaining budget modules within Fusion.Coordination with all requestors to ensure POs are raised and approved on time and in the correct manner.Raising of internal purchase orders, signing of 3rd party order forms and timely receipting of services.Analyse PO and PO lines on a quarterly basis and close unwanted POsPO lines.Provide quality control on all Purchase Orders prior to requests being generated, checking payment amounts and terms are in line with the Master Service Agreement and/or subsequent Amendments/Order Forms.Take the lead to resolve any issues regarding PO's, receipting and payments with AP team.Track actual spend to ensure spend is below the approved budget.Monthly reporting showing actual spend against budget.Third party financial relationship management, building a good rapport with all financial departments both internally and externally.Managing the suppliers and informing them of the correct PO numbers against each service on a monthly basis for Aorta interconnect services.Ensuring all invoices have relevant LG PO number against the billed service.Provide assistance and guidance for the development of Fusion for all Financial matters. This include requirements submission, testing and acceptance prior to implementation into the live environment.Escalate to management any possible disconnect or access denied threats resulting from delayed payments for Aorta services.Managing the timely payment of invoices by coordinating with accounts payable department to confirm the correct receipting of services.Review invoices on hold list on regular basis and ensure necessary actions are taken for matching and payment of invoices.Support financial activities for contingent labour and ensuring budget approvals are on time and contracts are extended seamlessly.Assist RFP Analysis and make recommendations.Assist ad-hoc economic modelling 'what if' scenario analysis.Perform Ad-hoc analysis as and when required based on operational efficiencies reviews.Assist on the automation of processes in order to minimise manual intervention as much as possible and bring the department to best in class.Michael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
