Application Developer / Permanent / .NET / C# / SQL / API Testing / JQuery / JavaScript

Spring technology are currently recruiting for experienced Application Developers to join one of our reputable clients on a permanent basis based up in Scotland. The role will see you working on new development projects as well as supporting existing applications and interfaces with third party partners.

Responsibilities:

*Take part in all phases of the software development life cycle such as design, development, testing, implementation and support

*Participate in designing and developing solutions using mainly .NET frameworks, C# and SQL server

*Work closely with SME's, BA's, and solution architects to understand both functional and non-functional requirements and also technical design

*Maintain high quality documentation throughout

*Promote best practice in C#, .Net, and SQL Development

*Undertake REST API testing

Requirements:

*Strong experience in .Net development (C#, ASP.Net and SQL server)

*Experience using web based technologies such as ASP.Net, MVC, Javascript frameworks, AJAX, jQuery, CSS and XML

*Strong SQL server experience

*SSIS AND SSRS (Highly desirable)

*RESTful/WCF web services (desirable)

*SoapUI/ ReadyAPI Automated API testing (desirable)

*Qlik / BI Technologies (desirable)

*Selenium automation through C# web drivers (desirable

*Good understanding of data modelling and database design

*Innovative thinker with a desire to learn new technologies
