Senior Quantity SurveyorSenior Quantity Surveyor | Gloucestershire | Residential Developer The Senior Quantity Surveyor role is with an award-winning independent local developer who are renowned reputation for delivering bespoke developments across Gloucestershire, Avon, Somerset and Wiltshire. Projects typically building between 10 to 30 units all located within a 1hr radius of my client's office.They are ramping up their work across the company in 2020 and need a Senior QS to grow a team from the ground up to manage the growing workload. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be commercially responsible for all upcoming developments and the management/training of the commercial team. Key requirements for this Senior QS role: Previous experience working for a developer or residential main contractorProven track record in a Lead Quantity Surveyor roleGood knowledge of the Construction industry processes and procedures.Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS cardAble to work on own initiative, with the drive to take ownership of projectsKnowledge of ICT and software systems.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Understanding of standard forms of contract and reporting procedures.Understanding of methods of measurement.Understanding of take offs and variations.Strong knowledge of building regulations Salary and package for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position£60,000 - £65,000 per annum.
