This company who are based near Oxford Street has recently changed their IT strategy and would like to have a short-term 3-month contractor to assist with the support and provision of their IT services.

You will be part of a larger team who are focussed on network administration as well as user support and hardware deployment. You may also be required to travel to some of the other international offices to assist with either the setup of new offices or support of existing offices.

You will work closely with the IT support team and the IT Director to ensure that the on-site tasks and projects are delivered in a timeous and efficient manner.

Requirements

- 3 - 4 years' proven IT support experience

- Confident individual with excellent communication skills

- A friendly, outgoing and approachable manner

- Native-level English speaking

- Good work ethic

- Ideally 2:1 degree

- On-site client facing experience is essential

- Natural trouble-shooter

- Comfortable working in a team as well as under one's own initiative.

Responsibilities

- Desk-side user support

- Laptop builds

- Working within a ticketing system

- Dealing with high-pressure assistance requests

- Resolving issues with speed and efficiency

This is a short-term position for 3 months, however for the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to secure a longer term position within the team.

The initial day rate is £125/d and the work hours are from 8:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday.
