I am working with a client in Glasgow who are looking for an interim Developer who will assist with some integration and systems migration work.

Role details

The migrations will involve the developers being involved in the solution design, build and test of the migrations required to move data from the source legacy systems to the new target system. The integrations will involve the solution design, build and test of the integrations required to facilitate the interfaces from one system to existing systems. The summary of technical skills is below.

  • Experience with Enterprise service bus ESB or iPaaS solution.
  • Proficient in an OO Language. - .NET
  • Experience of programming/development work with enterprise level RDBMS. - Oracle, MSSQL
  • Ability to document operations, and write simple instructions which can be followed by other staff.
  • Either have experience developing Scripts/Procedures for migrating data or have experience integrating systems and applications. - ETL tools/scripting like SSIS, PL/SQL etc
  • Testing migration scripts/procedures and exposure to unit testing frameworks like Junit/Nunit
  • Producing detailed documentation for all technical deliverables in line with agreed standards. -Performing detailed analysis to determine user requirements.

Location: Glasgow

Duration: 3-6 months (likelihood of extension)

IR35: Outside

Rate: £350- £400 per day
