Senior Linux Systems Administrator We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Systems Administrator with strong Red Hat / Ubuntu experience to join a hugely successful gaming company based in Berlin, Germany! This role as Senior Linux Systems Administrator offers the opportunity to join at a time of continued growth and become central to business success and improvement.

You will be responsible for overseeing the company's Linux server administration and troubleshooting as well as configuring management tools.This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Linux Systems Administrator looking to gain exposure to a vast tech stack including; Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS, Nagios, Icinga, HyperV, PostgreSQL, Apache and FreeNAS/NetApp. Any previous experience using any of these packages would be highly desirable.Key skills and experienced need for the Senior Linux Systems Administrator:Extensive demonstrable experience of Linux server administrationProficient with Ubuntu and ideally CentOS as well.Extensive knowledge in automation and orchestration with configuration management toolsSolid scripting experience with Bash and/or PythonAn understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g. XEN, KVM, HyperV)You must be fluent in English and have some German speaking skillsSenior Linux Systems Administrator: Ubuntu, CentOS, Linux Virtualisation, LXC, administration, troubleshooting, diagnostics, routing, firewalling, EN, KVM, HyperV, Bash, PythonLocation: Berlin, GermanySalary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) + 28 days holiday, relocation packages and many more excellent benefits Please apply now for more information and immediate consideration.Understanding Recruitment is acting as a recruitment agency on behalf of this vacancy.
