We are the largest mutual life, pensions and Investment Company in the UK, with Group funds under management of £118.9 billion and latest ProfitShare pay out to members of £142 million.  Group businesses provide around 9.0 million policies and employ 3,976 people (figures as of 05 Feb 2019).  We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics CRM Software Developer to join our development team based in Wilmslow with an eventual move to our new state-of-the art office near Alderley Edge . This is a key role within a motivated and energetic development team, working with the latest.NET technologies. The role would suit a driven individual with a passion for software development and a proven track record of delivering enterprise scale CRM applications. What will you be doing: Developing complex solutions within own area of technical expertise. Impact assessment of complex changes to existing applications. Documenting and agreeing design in advance and to agreed standards. Developing code to group standards, guidelines and quality gates for given technology. Collaborating closely with other members of the team. Contributing to software development practice by sharing ideas and experience. Conducting reviews of others' work.
  What we're looking for:  Excellent understanding of the Dynamics CRM platform, core modules and technologies (CRM 2011, 2013, 2015 or Dynamics 365) Experience in customizations and development of Microsoft Dynamics CRM including; Managing Dynamics solutions Entity model configuration Plugin development Custom workflow assembly's Experience with RESTful APIs Experience with custom integrations is desirable Experience of the following tools and technologies Microsoft .NET Microsoft C# JavaScript SQL Server Visual Studio Experience and competence in developing enterprise scale .NET C# applications Ability to share technical experience and knowledge with other developers Understanding of service-oriented and event-driven web architectures is desirable Skills that will help you in the role: Ability to cope with high-levels of delivery at pace, involving high profile projects Ability to quickly foster and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues and internal business stakeholders Excellent problem solving and decision making skills Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences allied to the ability to translate complex subject matter
