Do you want the chance to take a lead role, reporting directly to the General Manager, where you will have the chance to work autonomously on interesting and technically challenging projects while leading your own team?This well established company now represent a number of nationally recognised brands distributed across the UK and Europe. They have built their success through long standing relationships with local suppliers and farmers and keeping the quality of their products at the heart of what they do. They supply to a number of the largest suppliers within the UK and are seeing on going sales growth. Due to an internal promotion they are now looking to take on a Quality Manager to head up the Department.In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical department. You will report directly to the General Manager in this autonomous position whilst overseeing the team. You will be required to take a lead role in all major audits as well as ensuring compliance with customer specifications and legislation.This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team and play a pivitol role in a company at the forefront of their industry.The Role:

*Oversee the quality team

*Working with customers to ensure all products are compliant with legislation

*Lead all major audits

*Promoting food safety and quality standards throughout the companyThe Person:

*Background as a Quality Manager

*FMCG experience - ideally short shelf life

*Experience of managing a team
