Manufacturing Production Technician-Part TimeAscot£24024 Basic (Pro Rata-actually basic circa £14352) 10% Bonus plus shift allowance of 25% for weekend work plus overtime (time 1/2/double time)Shifts are Midday-7pm on a 4 on 4 off basis.Are you from a manufacturing production/engineering background, ideally working as a Operator or Technician, looking for a position offering variety, excellent career progression and the chance to work on new equipment?The salary can be increased significantly through bonus, shift allowance and overtime.The position has opportunities for progression and training in a interesting and growing site. The role is with a global leader in their market.This is a hands on manufacturing production role working on shifts as part of a team Therefore tasks will include:Operate polishing equipment, ensure equipment is properly setupTo read and correctly interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Incoming Quality control of raw materialsTo apply you should haveWorking background in a lean/5S manufacturing production environmentExperience of operating machinery to tight tolerancesUnderstanding of quality control processesDue to office location you must have a UK driving licence and a vehicle The role is based in Ascot, Berkshire.
