Role: Solution Architect

Contract: 6 Months

Location: Tingley

Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a leading public sector organisation based in Tingley, near Leeds. The client requires a Solution Architect on an initial 6 Month Contract.

Skills & Experience Needed:

*At least 8 years working within other relevant IT disciplines, such as software development, IT infrastructure, operations, system or database administration, business analysis, devops, project management, or a support background.

*Technical leadership and support of successful solution delivery as an architect or design lead.

*Architecture assessment and definition of business applications and infrastructure design and migration in complex environments.

*Definition of architectures entailing internal and external solution components and their integration.

*Working with legacy estates and their progressive replacement and migration to modern platforms.

*Working with third-party suppliers of solutions and technical support in the definition and delivery of solutions.

*Definition of Target Operating Models.

*Working with solutions processing personal data in large volumes

*Application of data migration and data quality management methods. Delivery of solutions involving multiple interfaces, exchange of data with external organisations, interfaces between on-site and cloud solution components, APIs, and UIs.

*Working with architectures entailing Software-as-a-Service and/or software package components.

*Owning and shaping solution architecture(s) in the context of a wider enterprise architecture.

*Use of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
