Collaborative. Ambitious. Empowering.

There's something different about life at Skyscanner. You'll feel it straight away.  As you put your ideas into action.  When you achieve as a team.  We think work should always be like this.   Because you're making a world-class service people love - even more personal. Join us as a Full Stack Software Engineer and feel a new kind of energy.

A skilled Software Engineer, you've worked on modern front end technologies and have some server side experience. You're excited by ES6, Sass/Less, Webpack, npm and React to name but a few; and have some experience in Node.js, Python, Java, .NET or other server scripting technologies. But what we really need is someone who can build a new front end codebase, so we can scale through development. This isn't just about having great technical talents, though. We're also looking for a sense of team spirit, dedication to customers and accountability for your own projects.

We need your expertise to help us do something great for over 100 million travellers: make booking stays and journeys more sustainable and straightforward. It involves technical challenges and the latest technology - but that's ok by you. First and foremost, it's about helping with automation and tackling the technical issues. An interest in security, data engineering/ETL, cloud services, real time accuracy and building APIs will definitely help.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for key service components. Through your work, you'll define and implement services that make up a vital sub-system in your area. There'll be the chance to deal with internal customers directly and be the main contact for your team, solving ad hoc queries, providing first line support and handling admin for core ‘off-the-shelf' systems. You'll be accountable for your own projects and trusted to deliver, and also form part of a broader team that takes collective responsibility for making success happen.

Already a global leader in travel, we want to elevate the way we work to a whole other level. In return, you'll get important things like medical insurance, health screenings, headspace subscriptions, the option to buy more holiday and a support programme for you and your loved ones.  We'll also help you donate to good causes and spend some time volunteering. And you'll have the opportunity to work from your home country for 3 weeks a year, and 30 days in our other global offices. Everything, in other words, to help you relax and give your best.
