Ensure new software is built to offer the best possible user experience
Join a team dedicated to developing new features for Sage Business Cloud Accounting
Receive training on testing tech including AWS, Docker, JMeter, BlazeMeter, Postman, Selenium, New Relic, DataDog and SumoLogic
Collaborate in deploying software around the world using Slack and Zoom
Develop your own innovations on monthly ‘Pioneer Fridays'
Make a difference to the local community by volunteering with Sage Foundation
The person
There's a reason why businesses around the world depend on Sage platforms. It's because we innovate. Our test engineers aren't robots. They're analytical thinkers who take a creative approach to problem-solving with a forensic eye for detail. But our perfect test engineer will:
Be quick to gain understanding of the system under test and how it is used by customers
Create timely estimates for testing projects
Help create and optimise source documents for testing artifacts
Execute different testing approaches such as rapid, risk based, exploratory, regression, security and usability
Take accountability for testing and create effective test metrics
Accurately record and communicate issues with the Test team lead
Stay up-to-date with all the latest developments in software testing and share knowledge with colleagues
Multitask and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
Learn quickly how to make a valuable contribution to the team
