Platform Engineer / DevOps (Google Cloud Platform Python IaC CI/CD). Strat-up Cloud technology consultancy is seeking a technologist Platform Engineer for a three month rolling contract in Central West London.

As a Platform Engineer / DevOps you will build highly resilient, scalable and performant GCP infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to enable application deployments; using Infrastructure as Code methods (e.g. Terraform) and ensuring compliance with Security and Operational Risk standards (e.g. network firewalls, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability and Resiliency).

You'll be working with a small, highly technical team in a collaborative environment where you will have lots of ownership.

Requirements:

Strong coding skills with Python and at least one other of the following: Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala

Experience of building a range of services on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Good understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Experience with CI/CD and associated tools

Collaborative with good communication skills

Degree educated; 2.1 or above from a top tier university
