We are one of the world leading experts in the digital imaging workflow market, specialising in software for professional, high volume photography. Current users range from cruise line photography operations, ski resorts, schools & graduation photographers, to police forces, wedding and event photographers. We have worked with some of the largest names in the photographic industry.
Our area of expertise includes linking identification data with photographs and using technology to automate post-capture production and distribution, along with the advancement of online and networked solutions.
The C# Software Developer Role:
This position will involve maintaining and improving our service-oriented image workflow system deployed on cruise ships around the world. We have several products in the pipeline and you will be expected to be able to move between projects which use a variety of technologies from the .NET stack.
Key duties:
+ Extend and improve existing system architecture and codebase.
+ Perform research, design, coding and testing in accordance with the company's standards.
+ Liaise with customers and gather requirements for bespoke software solutions.
+ Meeting with business owners to collect requirements.
+ Analysing requirements to design solutions.
+ Present ideas and demonstrate work to business owners during sprint reviews.
C# Software Developer Required skills:
+ Computer Science or related degree (2:1 or above).
+ 3+ years C# programming.
+ SQL Server.
+ Entity Framework.
+ GIT or SVN.
+ HTML + CSS.
+ ASP.NET.
+ Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
+ Unit testing.
+ Understanding of SOLID principles.
+ Understanding of OOP principles.
Desirable skills:
+ Knowledge of NoSQL.
+ AngularJS.
+ MVVM.
+ Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
+ Git feature branch workflow.
+ Windows services.
+ NuGet.
+ IIS.
+ SignalR.
+ Knowledge of SOA.
