SCCM Specialist - 6 months - Pudsey
Financial client is looking for an experienced SCCM Specialist join a team that delivers the technical support of the Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure, comprising of the installation, configuration, maintenance and administration of SCCM across the Windows Client estate. We provide support on a 24x7 basis so some out of hours work and joining the team callout rota is a key part of the role.
Experience Required:
- Technical knowledge (supported by extensive experience) of the SCCM product, environments and associated technology and the related standards and policies used to govern these technologies.
- Experience in administering SCCM is essential
- Knowledge of the technical and operational processes used to deploy, support and maintain the technical SCCM infrastructure
- Working platform understanding and knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Client, IIS and SQL
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and basic network principles
- Experience with PowerShell and SQL tracing
- Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources
- Strong quality and service focus
- Experience in delivering complex projects and incident recoveries
- Ability to identify and drive technology and process improvements
- Proven systematic and analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to implement effective business solutions
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain the SCCM product and service according to Group standards and policies, and to agreed service levels on a 24x7 basis
- Provision of technical support (including incident and problem resolution) for systems and processes in complex environments
- Carry out technical activities in support of project delivery, service improvement and on-going support of the SCCM infrastructure
- Identify and implement improvements to technical processes and the SCCM toolset to improve resource and cost efficiency
- Identify and remediate risks associated with the environment
