The Role
We are looking for a Lead Business Development Manager to join our growing sales function. In this role you will help develop strong relationships with new customers / new logos to grow our sales pipeline, as well as lead and mentor the sales team. This is a very hands on new business development role and the main focus will be to bring new customers to Sogeti UK.
 You will be involved in a variety of activities, typically:

Leading new business written proposals, bids and client presentations to win new customers.
Managing your own sales quota as well as the overall team quota.
Driving new business / new logos in Sogeti UK, from your contacts in the Test & QA market.
Development of winning propositions and solutions to meet client needs, across all of Sogeti's delivery capabilities and ultimately bringing new customers to Sogeti UK.
Reviewing, analysing, and responding to tender documentation and customer's procurement.
Supporting and driving both new business development as well as existing account growth.

 As the Lead Business Development Manager, we're looking for:-

Experience of delivering £30-50M sales consistently year on year.
Strong networking skills and to be highly networked in the QA & Testing space.
Experience of selling testing / QA consultancy services is essential. Exposure to the wider Digital/Cloud/Data and overall IT is beneficial.
Good commercial knowledge for making T&M (Time & Material) / fixed Price / managed services deals.
Previous experience leading a team of high performing sales executives, this is beneficial.
Personal demonstration of achieving growth in sales consistently.
Demonstrable experience of achieving your own targets and team targets in a services firm and/or consultancy environment.
Demonstrable experience of building a ‘target list' and leveraging internal and external networks to identify target accounts.
Exposure to multi-location and offshore model.
Willing to travel around the UK for customer visits.
