Are you computer literate?Established over 25 years ago this company supply their products into manufacturing businesses across the UK. This company have innovative plans to grow the business by 30% within the next 5 years, in order to plan for that growth, they now require an Applications/Sales Engineer to join the sales team.In this role you will be supporting new and existing clients with technical enquiries, you will grow these accounts being responsible for preparing estimates and quotations. You will prepare initial product layouts working closely with production to ensure the project runs smoothly. This role requires a strong multitasking skillset as you will be handling multiple projects at once. You will be required to visit clients to add value to your business relationship, so a driving licence is a must.The ideal candidate will have qualified with a degree, BTEC or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering with an interest in the sales side of engineering.The Role:

* Applications/Sales Engineer

* Preparing Quotes and Sales Estimates (Full Training provided)

* Preparing initial product layouts (Full training provided)

* Working closely with production and design teams, to provide your customer with an excellent service.

* £28'000 - £32'000 + Training, Bonus, Development, Phone and Excellent BenefitsThe Candidate:

* Comes from a hands on engineering/manufacturing background

* Computer literate in Microsoft Office and basic usage of CAD

* Has good people skills and can build client relationships

* Wants to move into a hands off engineering role (Applications Engineering or Sales Engineering)
