RF Test Development Engineer

I am working with a client searching for an RF Test Development Engineer for an initial 6-month contract based in Cambridge.

You will be working with a team of engineers developing communication products from the early design/prototype phase through to manufacturing. Within the position you will be testing and providing reports for product improvement, other tasks will be: Fault finding on PCB's and failure analysis, Environmental/Thermal tests (EMC), diagnosing faults to component level with the use of ATE.

As the Test Development Engineer, you should have experience with RF system and circuit testing experience on 20GHz+, fault finding to component level for RF boards and power supplies. Experience with modifying SMT PCB's and designing test fixtures, a confident analytical problem solver with clear documentation skills. Use of Python and Linux (software tools) and WiFi, GPS platform experience, with EMC knowledge a benefit.
