Facilities ManagerFacilities Manager - Manufacturing The work location is in Cheltenham and is a 12 Month Contract role. DescriptionMy client has developed a team to create an adaptable, contemporary, world class supply chain manufacturing facility which allows us to meet customer expectations now and in the future. This is a multi-million-dollar project which aims to consolidate Power manufacturing under one building and drive synergies across support functions and the rest of the campus. The Production Manager will be responsible for all aspects of facilities planning and implementation from concept to completion. Working with various multi-disciplined teams and suppliers to provide facilities for the next twenty years. Main Tasks and Activities: Work cross-functionally through collaboration with Production teams, Programs, Customers and suppliers to create and execute the implementation plan for the new production facilityUtilize lean tool kit to identify and eliminate sources of waste in both manufacturing, material movements and transactional processesFacilitate discussions on layouts, improvements and use continuous improvement tools to develop efficient production linesCreate facilities requirements for areas and buildingsSupport Program Leader in the strategic development and planning of manpower, equipment and other resources to achieve timelinesAssist in the develop of production line layouts and facilities for various manufacturing lines Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent relevant experience of production process and material flowStrong interpersonal and leadership skills, with proven ability to communicate to customers and across multiple functional areas of the businessEffective Program ManagerInfluence internal customers through presentation of dataLead initiatives of broad business transformation scope and impactAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyEffective problem identification and solution skillsProven analytical and organizational abilityAbility to plan and manage equipment and people moves Desired Characteristics:Strong oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsAble to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projectsExperience in building facilities and planning advantageousDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projectsAbility to document, plan, market, and execute programsExperience in facilities management and AutoCad advantageousUnderstanding of risks involved in production line moves and support risk mitigation activities for a smooth transition If you are relevant or interested don't delay, contact me on 0161 924 3956
