Our client, a leading odds comparison company require an experienced Senior Backend Developer (Node.JS) for an initial 6 month contract based in Hammersmith.Essential:Proven experience developing scalable, high-performance Node.js services (server side) (Express, Restify)Experience working within a DevOps organisation Experience with NoSQL datastores (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)Testing Frameworks e.g. Jest/JasmineWorking knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)Working in a team environment and mentoring junior developersHighly desirable skills include;Experience with Google Cloud, Kubernetes and DockerAn understanding of how Node.js is used for frontend tooling.An understanding of the frontend JavaScript ecosystem (React.js, Webpack)Strong will to motivate and help people reporting into you to improve and overcome their limitsSuitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
