Publishing Systems Analyst - £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits Package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Publishing Systems Analyst with experience of trade or academic publishing and/or publishing degree sought for an excellent, global organisation based in central London.
Our clients IT division supports hundreds of staff from Australia to New York in a fast-moving environment, using industry standard tools and systems. This role has a particular focus on the company's bibliographic systems and data.
Responsibilities
*Gathering business requirements and helping to design solutions.
*Acting as a point of expertise on workflow related issues; advising business staff on workflow related matters.
*Data management; publishing data metrics to stakeholders overseeing data processing.
*Assisting in the roll out of new functionality and applications
*Helping provide support to 500+ staff worldwide in their use of the Biblio3 and adjacent systems.
*Testing applications.
*Training system users.
*Writing and maintaining documentation.
*Liaising with systems providers.
The successful applicant will…
*have experience working in trade or academic publishing and/or a publishing degree
*have a strong team focus.
*will work flexibly and independently, as required.
*exhibit strong attention to detail.
*be able to explain systems workings and business procedures to staff concisely and effectively and have a friendly, professional manner. (verbal and email alike).
*have good Windows skills, especially with Excel.
