Software Developer / Java Software Engineer (Agile Multi-threading Low Latency Java 8). Would you like to gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems whilst working in a relaxed software house environment, receiving mentoring from a collaborative Agile team?

You could be joining a market leading financial software house that provides a suite of real-time web connectivity market data and trading services to Investment Banks and other financial institutions.

As a Software Developer you will focus on building Java back end software that connects to financial pricing, trading and entitlement systems to distribute data over the internet to HTML5 trading clients; this data must be delivered with extremely low latency. As part of a close knit multi-disciplined Agile development team you will also be able to contribute to code reviews and architectural discussions, continually learning and progressing your career.

Requirements:

Strong core Java development skills

Experience with building multi-threaded, low latency, performance critical applications (finance experience not necessary)

Advocate of Agile methodologies

UNIX / Linux exposure

Team player with excellent communication skills
