One of our clients is in the need of an SAP MDG Support Lead. For this reason, we are looking for a talented professional, who is willing to be a part of this project.General InformationDuration: 06/01/2020 to 05/07/2020Location: ZürichInternational travel required, anticipate 20-30% SCOPE Experienced SAP MDG resource needed to support progressing and closing out of MDM related activities and project tasks. ACCOUNTABILITIES Operate in support of the Head of Data & Reporting to manage and coordinate activities and administration to initiate, establish and kick-off key SAP MDG initiativesSupport the creation / management of new / existing IT MDM governance processes covering Service Delivery capabilities such as Data Services, Data Quality Management, Metrics & KPI's, Technical Solution Management and expansion)Review, update and create documents covering key processes and models to support next steps in SAP MDG service deliveryInitiate and lead (hands on) with some key projects, including deployment of SAP Information Steward, Data Quality Reporting and various other SAP MDG related workOversee and manage track delivery of services from partner teams / organisations linked across MDM projects and operational activitiesDIMENSIONS AND ASPECTSTechnical/Functional (Line) Expertise (Breadth and depth of knowledge, application and complexity of technical knowledge)SAP MDG knowledge (version 9.0+ a positive)Hands on Project / Activity Management skills - documentation / process design / deploymentDeep understanding of Master Data Management platforms and processesDirect experience related to SAP MDG deployments, environments and SAP transports management managing on-shore / off-shore partnersExperience / knowledge related to SAP MDG Roles DesignExperience / knowledge related to basic data architectures and modellingApplication Management / operations experienceKey experience / Subject Matter Expert level knowledge in all/any of Customer, Vendor, Material MasterExperience and expertise in data analysis and management - skills with Business Intelligence reporting solutions like Qlik, PowerBI as a plusM&A / Integrations experience (data / process / technology / people), and within life sciences a plusLeadership (Vision, strategy and business alignment, people management, communication, influencing others, managing change)Direct experience in understanding business outcomes as a key driver to establish MDM vision and strategySkills in people management and the ability to operate as an effective advocate within the organisation around MDM and business valueExperience in facilitating key technical and business discussions leading to actionable insights and status progressDecision-making and Autonomy (The capacity and authority to make organizational decisions, autonomy in decision-making, complexity of decisions, impact of decisions, problem-solving)Experience in roles that allow a high level of autonomy to make decisions related to Master Data Management in partnership with key functional partners and senior managementExperience in dealing with decisions related to globally available data elements and processes that carry a high priority / impact to the organisationAbility to build consensus on sensitive topics which require senior managers to often accept compromises at the local level based on the bigger picture viewInteraction (The span and nature of one's engagement with others when performing one's job, internal and external relationships)Experience being a member of a small core team with a global mandate, which requires clear and transparent communicationExperience with stakeholder management and engagement at all levels of the organisationAbility to deal with a lot of information on a daily basis, and the skill to focus on those activities that carry business critical and high-impact consequencesAbility to set priorities, align stakeholders' expectations and, develop and execute an associated plan of actionAbility to engage effectively with colleagues with different backgrounds and areas of expertiseAbility to assess strengths and weaknesses of staff members and provide suggestions for improvements - coaching experience a plusInnovation (The required level of scientific knowledge, knowledge sharing, innovation and risk taking)This role is focused on delivery of specific tasks and objectivesExamples of innovation within SAP MDG / MDM would be of interestComplexity (Products managed, mix of businesses, internal and/or external business environment, cultural considerations)Expertise and experience in managing complex data requirements across multiple regions and legal entitiesExperience in large multi-national company/systems integrations / M&A scenariosExperience with franchise-based life-sciences organisation with full life-cycle OTC and non-OTC pharmaceutical products as a plusManufacturing / Contract manufacturing experience as a plus (Raw Materials to Finished Products) EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Bachelor's Degree is required; Graduate degree is desiredMore than 7 years of relevant work experience10+ years of IT and line-management experience, which includes project management experience, people management experience and 5 years as a second line manager in the IT functionDMAAI / Related MDM certifications / qualifications / memberships as a plusExperienced technology expert, relationship builder, change leader and problem-solver; demonstrated learner of current and emerging technologiesStrong communications and influencing skills; ability to distil complex topics into actionable strategiesExperience managing stakeholder relationships, including developing and implementing robust and innovative technology strategies and roadmaps;
