Front End Web DeveloperOur leading Retail client based in Croydon are searching for a passionate and creative Front End Web Developer to join their team on a permanent basis at their head office in Croydon. The role will work closely with other front/back end developers, BA's and testers to ensure web projects, enhancements and web site support tickets are delivered to a high quality within an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the definition of front end experiences and communicating their ideas and approach to senior stakeholders. Role Responsibilities '€¢Analyse and define customer journeys on the desktop and mobile websites - '€¢Deliver online functionality, on time and to specification based on business requirements '€¢Collaborate with other developers, testers and BA's to deliver complete development solutions'€¢Strong understanding and practical experience of eCommerce practices'€¢Trouble-shooting and fixing website and associated applications issues'€¢Provide expertise and best practice development approaches - Researching, analysing and suggesting new website functionality'€¢Wireframes and proto-typing creation for projects and UX enhancements - Assist with upgrades and patches on the website platformSkills required:
'€¢Front end development experience in eCommerce desktop/mobile development'€¢Expert front end developer who is skilled in using JavaScript ES6, HTML, CSS, SASS and bootstrap.'€¢Experience using NPM and Webpack.'€¢Exposure to JSP, Typescript and Angular is advantageous'€¢Experience in using version control software such as GIT'€¢Experience writing unit test scripts in a Test Driven Development'€¢Experience in working within the retail environment is highly desirable Front End Web DeveloperDue to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
