This role is within the energy sector where they are migrating all the infrastructure across to the cloud. They are seeking multiple Senior Software Engineers, as they are expanding significantly, to build on a platform that analyses financial information within company portfolios. The main programming language they work with is Scala. The Senior Software Engineer does not require any previous experience with Scala, they are looking for experience and the willingness to learn this as a new language, if no prior experience exists.The Senior Software Engineer will:Join an agile and growing team working on a modern tach stack including Scala, Haskell and AngularCollaborate with product specialists to implement their bespoke modelling processes and UIBe offered plenty of remote working opportunities - up to 3 days if desired.As the Senior Software Engineer, you'll design and build code that supports their product management process. Continuous development is advocated to best support their complex infrastructure that is built on Docker containers and deployed to AWS.
