Java Developer

One of our Hertfordshire clients is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their growing team. You will be detail-orientated, proactive and able to function well under pressure, working on development projects.

Java Developer duties will include, but not limited to:

*Creating clean, robust and reusable code

*Working within an Agile team, within a collaborative environment

*Develop all code within company best practice

*Other duties will include maintaining existing code and creating new code within projects

*Keeping abreast with new technology developments, and how they can be implement within

*Mentoring and assist with developing junior whilst aiming to be a subject matter expert within the team

*Working within a full SDLC environment

As the Java Developer you will be required to possess:

*Expert knowledge of Java, J2EE and Web Services (REST/SOAP)

*Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot/ Spring MVC

*Previous experience with web technologies (JavaScript, React, jQuery, AngularJS)

*Experience with API testing, using Postman/Swagger/SOAP UI/Groovy/Spring

*Functional testing using Selenium/Jbehave

*Hands on experience with Jenkins/PCF

*An understanding of web/applications servers (JBoss, Apache, Tomcat)

*Proven experience in SDLC & implementation of projects
