E-trading Java Developer - Connectivity - Credit-etrading / Fixed Income - Investment Bank

Core Java Developer is required - etrading and connectivity experience is essential. You must have experience in connectivity gateways /  platforms using FIX messaging and other similar vendors,  ION trading (nice to have).  Must have experience with multi-threading programming.  Experience with asynchronous and event driven programming. Experience developing Real Time applications. Familiar with building distributed systems. Knowledge of networks and topologies

Firm grounding of common algorithms Familiar working with Linux environments. Familiar with Oracle/SQL Server.

Desirables: A working knowledge of Fixed Income instruments including Credit Default Swaps

Knowledge of [ION] third party market data connectivity API, Experience working in a Front Office team.

Role:

An experienced developer whose expertise is in Java primarily working on Server Side components is required to work on design and implementing features for Credit eTrading order management and market connectivity layers. This will include build out of bond quoting from an Algo Engine, enhancements to Bonds Auto Negotiation engine and the build out of an internal RFQ workflow between sales and trading.

The qualified applicant should possess experience with producing clean, high performance, scalable and testable applications, while demonstrating a great sense of design and attention to detail.

Candidates must have Front Office team experience and any knowledge of eTrading systems, ideally within Credit.
