Takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and satisfactory completion of all medium to large-scale projects. Client DetailsA regulatory body working with business experts, government bodies and consumer groups to capture best practice and structure the knowledge all organisations need to succeedDescriptionSenior Project ManagerTakes responsibility for the definition, documentation and safe execution of small to medium-scale projects and actively participating in all phases of the project.Identifies, assesses and manages risks and issues which could affect the success of the project.Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of all project to agreed terms of reference.Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and tracks all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders, as appropriate.Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off. Gains agreement for revisions to the project(s) from project sponsors and other stakeholders (e.g. design authority, project board, change authority) as appropriate.Provides effective leadership to the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience.Ensures that own projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured, actioned and reported to the appropriate organisational entities for dissemination towards organisational learning and improvement.Carries out business impact assessmentIdentify gaps in project and implement action plans to close the gaps prior to go-live.Agrees with stakeholders the output and outcomes in the form of a prioritised schedule of activities and necessary commitments prior to going live.Act as a single point of contact for project by maintainig stakeholder engagement.Monitor and reports on suppliers' performanceProfileSenior Project ManagerExpert in Project ManagementComprehensive knowledge of relevant system development life-cycles.Proficient in Third Party IT Products and ServicesExperienced in managing large scale project - C£2mExperienced in managing projects across multiple sectors - Financial services, retail, B2B etc.Proficient in Proof of Concept and PrototypingExperience of managing executive level stakeholders.Proficient in Progress ReportingProficient in Project Risk ManagementJob OfferSenior Project ManagerSalary - £60k - £70kLife Assurance - 4 times your gross salaryAnnual Leave - leave entitlement for new starters is 27 days per annumtailored employee benefits
