One of the worlds largest events companies with an exclusive portfolio of clients is looking for an experienced E-commerce Project ManagerClient DetailsOne of the worlds largest events companies for the last 30 years with an exclusive portfolio of clients is looking for an experienced E-commerce Project ManagerDescriptionAs the E-commerce Project Manager for a renowned events company, you will be responsible for the back-end and front-end operation alongside administering and management of e-commerce projects and platforms.Our client deals with major events around the globe, so will need a high calibre E-commerce Project Manager who will be able to deliver online projects end-to-end as well as providing project management assistance from when the inception phase and right through to launch stage. The E-commerce Project Manager will need to be involved in the following;Defining requirementsoverseeing the design & buildQA testing and launch for site improvementsYou will be responsible for all the e-commerce team members, and also frequent collaboration with the international Marketing, Digital and IT TeamsEffective management of all website and related platforms & processes is essential, which will include for the more popular examples however not limited to; Google Analytics, Magento, JIRA, Office 365, Umbraco, Sitefinity, CRM, ClickDimensions, Sharepoint and the Customer Service platformProfileOur client is looking for a Tier 1 E-commerce Project Manager who has an eye for detail however still holds the skill for broad level thinking and can see the bigger picture. This is essential, due to our clients projects being some of the largest events around the world.The E-commerce team operates in an agile environment, where being able to deal with multi-tasking in a timely manner is pivotal in this role. Our clients primary focus is B2C, so experience working in a B2C environment is imperative.The type of skillset needed for this exciting role within a company doing great things, entail the following;Taking a website from inception, launch to ongoing updates throughout most of your careerInteractions with multiple teams is key, where ideally experience in a EMEA role would be a great advantageExtensive experience in ticketing and/or inventory management systemsGreat stakeholder management is crucial, where our clients team is based around the world and only dealing with world class events, where demanding stakeholders and teams are working to tight deadlinesProven project management will be key here. Preferred delivered projects will include; events, accommodation, hospitality, ticketing, transportation and sports events.Overall you must be a E-commerce project manager who really enjoys being hands on, working with multiple teams, adaptable, likes to travel and excels when it comes to Content Management SystemsJob OfferUp to £70,000 per annumWorking on prime eventsInternational travel
