Through growth they are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer / Embedded Software Engineer to join their projects based research and development team. This is a dream job for a Hollywood film buff!In this role you will join a busy R&D team being responsible for the design and development of embedded control system hardware and software of robotic products, focusing on creating cutting edge industry leading equipment.The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an Embedded Systems or an Embedded Software Engineer within a research & development environment focusing upon product development. Experience of VHDL Programming and working with FPGAs is also a necessity.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and interesting business working on new technologies within a fascinating industry where they will invest in you to help with your own technical advancement.The role:

*Projects based role as a part of the R&D team

*Design & development of embedded control system hardware and software of robotic products

*Creating new equipment for the film industry

*Design of high precision and high speed control of motors and actuators from FPGA and microprocessor based control systems via embedded software

*Working closely with electronic engineersThe person:

*Degree qualified in Embedded Systems, Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or similar

*Experience programming Verilog / VHDL

*Any knowledge of Linux, Python or C++ beneficial but not a necessity

*Experience with FPGA and Microprocessor based control systems via embedded software

*Any previous experience with control of active stabilisation and vibration damping systems would be beneficial

*Other useful areas of experience could include: remote electric vehicles, robotics, motor control, PID tuning, control systems, user interface design and RF based remote controlled systems
