What role are we recruiting for?

Within the Content team, we are looking for a Content Manager to support in the delivery and execution of our content marketing plan. This not only focuses on inbound channels, but also on the retention and upsell of existing customers, in both the UK and the US.

We want to make our customers passionate advocates of what we do and ensure we become the lingua franca of brand owners everywhere. The Content Manager will be key to our success by supporting in the production of provocative, thought-leading and visually beautiful content to recruit, retain, upsell and delight our customers.

As Content Manager, you will focus on:

Organic Content:


+ Support with the development and execution of a content marketing plan and editorial calendar
+ Lead on management of our blog and editorial calendar. Regular writing and commissioning of articles, sourcing guest blogs and reporting on engagement metrics.
+ SEO: ensure all content is optimised for discover & carry out regular keyword analysis to inform ongoing strategy
+ Identify opportunities to repurpose content for various stages of the customer lifecycle
+ Work with the Social Media Manager & Digital Strategist to plan, manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to support the recruitment of exchangers (subscribers)
+ Collaborate with the graphic designer and videographer to produce organic content to delight existing and potential customers

Data Storytelling:

+ Support the ongoing engagement of our potential and existing customers with ‘deep-dives' into our customers' data across categories and brands to produce multi-purpose content: white papers, infographics, blogs, social posts etc
+ Support the Content Director in the strategy and delivery of x6 category features focusing on emerging industries and trends
+ Work with the Data Analyst to unearth trends in our data, and produce compelling investigative reports, infographics and articles
+ Support the Content Director and Head of Customer Success in delivering timely, retention-driving content to our subscribers
+ Create email templates to support the automation of weekly ‘Delight' emails to subscribers
+ Identify opportunities for innovation in the content, delivery and choice of channel to delight customers

Measurement:

+ Produce weekly reports on engagement metrics
+ Work with Marketing & Customer Success to define metrics for content engagement and areas for optimisation.

+ Has finger on the pulse with the latest brand trends, emerging categories and growth segments

+ We are an entrepreneurial team, and you have to be keen to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in wherever the business needs you

About You:

+ 5+ years' experience in content marketing, content creation and/or journalism
+ A proven showcase of developing recruitment and retention driving content across multiple channels
+ You are a wordsmith with excellent proofreading and copywriting skills
+ Experience in data storytelling; spotting trends and turning them into valuable and captivating content to drive behaviour
+ Experience using a CMS, eg. WordPress, Hubspot
+ Working knowledge of marketing analytics tools, in particular Google Analytics
+ In touch with and excited by the latest cultural trends across emerging segments in both the UK and the US
+ Skilled in SEO with experience producing content to optimise sites
+ Experience using SEO tools (Moz, semrush, google keyword)
+ You have experience in a scaling SaaS business (preferable)
