Head of Finance

West Midlands

£800 - £1000 per day

Client is a leading Insurer based in the Midlands who are embarking on an exciting period of change. As Head of Finance, you will be reporting to the Operations CFO overseeing a team of 70 across financial reporting, business partnering and management accounts.

Responsibilities:

* Take ownership of financial reporting operations supporting the Operations CFO

* Oversee the production, review and sign off of quarterly and monthly reporting results and analysis

* Support a deal process and execution including the development of the integration plan

* Attend and chair committees and management forums

* Lead in the implementation of new working procedures and controls across Finance

* Manage a team of 7 direct reports and 70 indirect reports

Skills required:

* Fully qualified Accountant with min. 5 to 10 years PQE

* Proven experience of leading large teams (min. 50 headcount)

* Detailed knowledge of internal and external reporting processes including IFRS and Solvency II

* Must have thorough experience within a regulated environment
