This is an exiting opportunity to work as an IT 3rd Line Engineer for a charity based in Central London, providing technical support and expertise in the delivery of enterprise wide IT infrastructure service. Client DetailsMy client is an extremely popular Charity which is a public institution dedicated to giving back and documenting human history. The technology department is going through a number of systematic and structural changes to meet a large number of evolving demands making it an exciting time to join and assist. DescriptionThe Key Responsibilities for this role are: Understand emerging technologies and play an active role with the IT teams in defining technical direction

Responsible for the uptime and performance of the IT infrastructure. Liaising with managers, 3rd line colleagues and service delivery staff to ensure ITIL incidents and problems are resolved effectively

Ensure relationships with infrastructure suppliers are well managed and add value to the organisation

Ensure infrastructure projects are fully transitioned into operational support in a managed and controlled manner. Communicate effectively and work with service teams on their responsibilities for supporting and maintaining the solution

ProfileThe successful candidate will have:Charity experience (not essential but can possibly help)3rd Line experienceAzure cloud experienceSecurity compliance experienceExperience in ITIL frameworks to deliver services and change controlHas proect managed the delivery of infrastructure technologies - using Prince or AgileJob OfferGreat charity experience, a generous amount of holiday & a great opportunity to learn more about Infrastructure in the Not For Profit sector.
