My client a leading Pharmacutical company based in Braine, Brussels requires a Supply Chain Distribution Specialist. Distribution Specialist you like to work in an environment where you can: Be responsible for the production tracking and shipments initiation and follow up for the different company Markets from Global Sales organization covered by Global Customer Service Distribution teams. As a specialist, you will take over additional responsibilities for the representation of the team and the internal collaboration with other departments and in different projects. As a Distribution Specialist you will contribute by: Ensuring top quality service is provided to Markets any times Creating/maintaining an excellent reputation with all internal business contacts Acting as intermediary between Markets and production sites Monitoring open stock transfer orders and sales orders and shipments on a daily basis Taking care of all order processing from A to Z Coordinating documentation and invoicing Analyzing latest market/country information to understand mid and long-term supply requirements Managing Markets queries by taking ownership and responsibility Completing GCS KPI's Participating in the improvement of existing processes/procedures Executing contractual reconciliations or price transfers and issue Credit/Debit Notes where applicable Maintaining Client working instructions in GCS database & Commercial client files in SAP for all customers Collaborating with applicable stakeholders (planning, logistics, commercial, finance, QA, master data team etc.) as necessary Participating in launch meetings for individual portfolios and follow up on new product registration Being concise and find the best solutions possible Listening actively and respond to the concerns of the Markets by liaising with the different internal departments Contributing to draft & review SOP's related to Global Customer Service
Proposing and delivering continuous improvements projects Participating to the company projects where Market Customer Service is involved Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:
Bachelor, Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent 2-5 years' experience in Customer Service Distribution A first working experience in international pharmaceutical logistics management and/or proven supply chain expertise is an asset Experience with any ERP system, SAP is a strong advantage Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Customer Service Oriented Eager to learn, out of the box and entrepreneurial mindset Fluency in French and English, any other language is a plus Stress resistant, analytical, flexible, able to work independently, strong team spirit, excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer focused Process oriented with strong ability to create process flows Analytical mind (Structured and Organized) Experience within the context of an international organization Exceptional organizational skills Compulsory elements: 1- experience in a Customer Service department 2- fluency in French and English (any other language is a plus) 3- IT minded (= skill to use or learn new tools). Nice to have: 1) Knowledge in logistics, transportation and warehousing, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry 2) Knowledge in Good Distribution Practice, Cold Chain Distribution, Incoterms and understanding of customs clearance processes 3) Experience with SAP It is a very operational role with a lot of routine.
