3rd Line IT Support Engineer - Windows, Exchange, Network Troubleshooting, VMWare/HyperV The Company Are you searching for a role with an IT company that stands heads and shoulders above other managed IT service providers in the area, their customer's words not ours? Our client is an established company based in beautiful Devon with a mission to ensure all clients are supplied with future proof IT & Unified Comms that are fit for purpose. The Team Their team has been carefully assembled and consists of a good mix of skill sets and ability but every person does have one thing in common - a desire to do the best for the customer and work colleagues. The Role You will be providing businesses with technical support for Microsoft technologies including Cloud based solutions. You will be responsible for providing clients with 3rd Line technical assistance, maintaining the reliability of client's operating environments and infrastructure. Your will design and install IT solutions for new and existing clients and will take the lead in recommending and installing solutions for technical projects, plus auditing systems and networks to identify future opportunities (possibly cloud based) by researching and deploying infrastructure improvements. You will mentor and develop people within the team and sometimes assist them in supporting 1st & 2nd Line engineers. You You should have experience of working in a 3rd Line capacity, solving technical problems, providing solution design and installation deployment. You should be comfortable in assisting and mentoring less experienced colleagues. You will have a strong technical background, with experience of the following:- Microsoft Server and Desktop Environments + - Microsoft Azure /- Microsoft Office 365Virtualisation Technologies - HyperV/VMwareNetwork Troubleshooting - - Network Diagnostics Above all you will need good communication skills, both internally and externally. You need to enjoy helping non-technical people understand how you can help them and be a solid team player, helping in developing your colleague's skill base. Why apply?
