My client an independent body, set up by the British Parliament are looking to recruit a SharePoint systems support analyst. The candidate will work within the IM Team to support the client's business systems including SharePoint 2016. The candidate must have excellent technical skills in supporting Microsoft technologies alongside a good awareness of user requirements including an ability to ensure that the IT systems provide suitable solutions.

Key Requirements-

-Experience of Microsoft Office technologies and applications (Office 2016 preferred)

-Experience of SharePoint 2016 on premise.

-Ability to provide technical aspects of system management

-Proven ability to understand user requirements and advise on their technical feasibility

-Ability to diagnose technical problems and resolve these using own or other's resources

-Ability to manage own work and competing priorities to meet deadlines

-Ability to communicate technical concepts and advice to non-technical staff

-Ability to provide assistance and training to non-technical members of staff

-Ability to demonstrate good customer service skills

-Ability to share information with and support colleagues on technical projects

-The ability to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a small team

-Be willing to attend training courses and participate in other personal development

-Be able to work under pressure in a small team

-A keen interest in all aspects of Information Technology

Desirable-

-Experience of Windows 10 and Server 2003/2008

-Knowledge of data protection and system security requirements

-Experience of working within a public sector or not-for-profit organisation

-Experience of working closely with a IT Help Desk team

-Experience in data management

-Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and to rapidly acquire new skills
