The company is now seeking a Networking Solutions Engineer to provide technical design and support to SD-WAN/Networks Pilots as well as SD-WAN Implementation and Migration Projects from Specification through to Delivery.Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, you will be required to: Assist the SD-WAN Virtual Team to sell solutions (SDWAN and Networks) to customersProvide technical support for pre-sales demonstrations, PoCs and pilot implementations.Install and manage customer SD-WAN technology trialsWork within Virtual Customer Teams and provide technical support for RFIs and RFPs.Engage and work with vendors and other customer suppliers to resolve technical issuesProvide training and consultancy services where appropriate Create SD-WAN designs and supporting documentation for SD-WAN transformation projects (including LLD, M-LLD & MoPs)Work with internal staff and partners to support and develop SD-WAN solutions which include security, visibility, connectivity and other complementary technologies.Lead the SD-WAN implementation and migration projects as a technical expert.Meet and work with customer technical teams to develop technical relationships. To be successful in this role, you will need/need to be:
Experience in implementation and design of LANs, WANs, QoS enabled IP networks.Solid knowledge of IP networks and protocols, including IP addressing schemes, BGP, OSPF and generic routing ad switching technologies.Knowledge and understanding of transport networks Ethernet, MPLS (Layer2 and Layer3 VPN’s)Knowledge of IPSec VPNs and transport securityKnowledge of systems (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) from key vendors such as Cisco or Juniper.Demonstrable experience of supporting Service Provider or Enterprise Grade NetworksThe ability to conceptualise and design network Enterprise infrastructure.Hold a professional accreditation or Vendor Certifications level such as Cisco, CCDP/CCNP, Juniper, etc.Understand network management technologies (SNMP and NetFlow), network infrastructure technologies (TCP/IP, switching & routing), WAN Optimization technology (Preferably Riverbed) and firewall technology.Educated to "A level" standard.Strong relationship management skills and excellent communication skills.Analytical and logical with great problem-solving skills.Organised and efficient.Enthusiastic, helpful, curious, open minded and driven. Ideally you will also have the following skills/knowledge:
Operational experience of Design Methodology (TOGAF, etc.) and toolsTrack record delivering network design and audit/assessment assignments with good level of documentations (HLD/LLD/MoPs etc) and providing Peer Review LLD (Low Level Designs) and HLD (High Level Designs)Knowledge of SDN and SDWAN technologies knowledge and experience and applications experience like Voice, etc.Cloud experience (like AWS or Azure) NO AGENCIES PLEASE
