Software Engineer - Python, APIs, AWS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, JavaScript, React, Typescript

I'm currently recruiting for a couple of Python Developers for my client based in central Bristol, but are willing to offer the flexibility of working from home 1-2 days per week after an initial bedding-in period depending on seniority and independence. They are offering a salary of £35,000 - £45,000pa (possibly negotiable beyond this for the right person), plus a generous annual bonus based upon company performance. In terms of convenience they are within reasonable walking distance of Temple Meads Station and also have on-site parking.

You will be working on building and developing a new analytics application in a start-up environment, you don't need prior front-end capability but you will need to have a willingness to learn and work with JavaScript, React and TypeScript.

Essential Skillset / Experience

- Python

- Building / consuming APIs (REST / SOAP etc)

Desirable Skillset / Experience

- AWS

- Databases (ideally PostgreSQL / DynamoDB)

- CI/CD tools: Docker / Terraform etc

- JavaScript / React / Typescript
