The role holder will provide first to third line support and administer various IT systems to provide a high-quality IT Service. A key part of the role will be liaising with external IT service providers to resolve any managed service issues.Key Responsibilities: Provide IT service for all staff across the society (60%)Processes jobs required for the efficient operation of the IT department such as password re-sets, telephone support, technical queries and general IT admin.Provide first to third line support on any IT related issues that may arise. (A working knowledge of Windows10, Active Directory, Group Policy's & MS Office 365, with an understanding of Exchange will be required).Support IT and Business change projects as required.Ability to escalate technical issues outside capability to other IT staff or external providers.Production of Management Information (MI) (20%)Produce reports and data extracts on request from end users utilising excel to ensure user requirements met within set timescale.Various areas will have MI requirements and post holder will need to produce reports on customer insights data for inclusion in board papers and other reports.Business/Product Support (20%)System Configuration including creating products for internal departments and external Brokers/Customers.Support the Business with a variety of technical developments.Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience: IT or IT related qualification(s)MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with advanced Excel spreadsheet abilitiesWorking knowledge of Windows10, Active Directory and Group Policy's.Good communication skills with the ability to form good relations with staff to deal with any Issues on a day to day basisHighly numerate with an ability to analyse data and produce easy to understand reportsAbility to organise a varied workload and prioritise tasks to meet agreed deadlinesAbility to multi task and prioritise a varied workload to pro-actively resolve IT issuesProven track record of working with data, whether through university or work experienceCompany BenefitsOn completion of the three month probation period every employee is eligible for the following benefits:Starting salary of £19,320 - £22,212 per annumAdditional remuneration linked to organisational performanceHours available on a Saturday morning at an increased rate23 days holiday which increase on length of service plus bank holidaysContributory pension schemeSimply health level 2 cash planEmployee assistance programmeFree parkingPlease click the APPLY button to send your CV & Cover Letter for this role.Please note that CV's without a covering letter will not be consideredCandidates with the relevant experience or job titles of; Management Information Support, Reporting Assistant, MI Support, MI Analyst, Operational Reporting, Junior MI, Reporting Analyst, 1st Line Technical Support IT Technician, IT Support Engineer, IT Service Engineer, IT Service Desk Technician, IT Support Technician, 1st Line Support Engineer, 1st Line Support Technician, Technical Support, IT Support, IT Systems Support will also be considered for this role.
