Global Head of Information Security (12 month Fixed Term Contract). Are you a Security technologist seeking a challenging role where you can make a real impact on a huge global company?

You could be joining a world renowned media group as the Global Head of Information Security and leading the vision for the company's approach to Information Security, providing subject matter expertise and practical tools. You will work with the board to establish an integrated Information Security and Data Privacy team to be responsible for the organisation's management, protection and security of its information and data assets.

Initially you'll be required to conduct a global review of Information Security and Data Privacy and subsequently develop and oversee effective global compliance policies and processes that are tailored to the company's specific requirements. You'll lead the company's response to information security incidents including how investigations are carried out and acting as an escalation point for high severity / critical events as well as collaborating with the Security Operations Centre / SOC team to ensure they are aware of Threat Intelligence and advise where additional monitoring is required.

As the Global Head of Information Security you will be based in impressive London offices (with occasional travel to other sites required). Please note this role is on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis (to £200k, negotiable plus benefits).

Requirements:

Experience in a similar Global Head of Information Security position

Significant experience of building high performing Information Security teams within global organisations

Must hold at least one Security Certification such as: CISSP, CISA, CISM, MSc in Information Security

Indepth understanding of both the technical and legal environments required for global Information Security and Data Privacy systems

Experience of responding to major Information Security incidents

Experience of building effective policies in non-EU member countries (e.g. USA, Russia, China)

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

As the Global Head of Information Security you will earn a competitive salary (to £200k on a 12 month fixed term contract basis) plus benefits.
