jAVA GURU / SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - EDINBURGH - £50K About Us:My exclusive, multinational client is an industry leading recruitment software company. Based out in Musselburgh, they're looking for a couple of new Software Developers to expand their workforce and bring in a fresh outlook.The Role:

Reporting to the Development Team Manager, the role will provide a range of challenges working on our existing products and developing new projects. The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the development lifecycle from initial specification to final delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a keen developer with a flair for design to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.This is a permanent position working as part of the technical team based in our Edinburgh office. Applicants will ideally be based in the Central Belt of Scotland and must be eligible to work in the UK. Valued Skills:JavaPython, Ruby, PHP, Perl or NodeJS (or any other dynamic scripting languages)LinuxSource control system, ideally git or subversion.Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA.Experience of testing Java applications. Desired Skills:MVC framework.Developing unit tests in Mockito.Java Stream APIXML in Java using MOXy and JAXB.JSON in Java using Jackson.CI/CD using Jenkins and Archiva.MySQL or a similar relational database.
