An experienced and passionate Cloud DevOps Manager to take responsibility for the Cloud Platform Engineering team where you will play a key role in leading the operations, delivery and continual improvement of our highly scalable cloud platform in line with industry defined DevOps practices. You will be working closely with senior stakeholders, application, security and development teams to ensure that the platform team and technology supports business and customer needs.As part of this role, you'll be responsible for: Responsibility for a team comprising a mix of permanent, contract and consultant resources Providing thought leadership and mentoring Planning and prioritising work activities for team members effectively Contributing to the Infrastructure strategy & roadmap Develop and improve best practice processes, standards and controls Deliver a proactive support and development capability for our cloud platform Providing timely and professional communication to key customers and stakeholders Embed a DevOps culture of collaboration, communication and automation
You will need: Leading/managing a team of Platform Engineers in a cloud environment Experience of implementing a DevOps based ways of working using automation where possible Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Experienced in how to successfully deliver highly available, consistent, secure and performant services using DevOps and Infrastructure-as-a-code best practices Developing organizational Cloud strategy Financial Management Experience; budget planning, forecasting, tracking costs Experience of ITIL/ Agile Service Management/
