System Support Technician - Barnsley

Permanent - £22-30K (DOE)Reed Technology are working with an international business based in Barnsley to recruit a System Support Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a small local team and be involved in other parts of the business.Key Duties:* Providing 1st and 2nd line support.

* Analyse and report on data using SQL.

* Responsible for systems' operational conditions and uptime.About You:* 2+ years' experience in System Administrator / Help Desk position, preferably in AWS environment.

* Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server and MS SQL Server.

* Knowledge in Developing (C#) would be an advantage.

* Database administration skills would be an advantage.This role would suit someone coming from an Applications Support or 1st/2nd Line Support background who is looking for a more dynamic role and wants to progress within a business.
